2025 was the Year of the Snake. 2026 is the Year of the Horse and of course that explains everything about my life. I’ve succumbed to the fact that my personal growth was scheduled centuries in advance. The Snake is about shedding- old identities, old habits, old versions of yourself you kept out of familiarity, not desire. Snakes don’t grow by pushing. They grow by releasing what no longer fits. And then comes the Horse. 2026 is momentum, movement, forward energy. Horses don’t wait for clarity. They don’t negotiate with their past. They run. It’s the year when all the internal shifting becomes something you can actually see. The year the life you’ve been circling finally lets you step into it. Right now I’m standing in the doorway between the two. That liminal space where you’re both restless and calm, shedding and ready, quiet but already facing the horizon.
