REPOST 🎥: @moj Here is an important message from our friend Moj. Some things matter more than acetate frames...
🚨Brands. This is how you can help by offering your platform. We have dozens of creators and talent who can create content like this. Thank you to @bumble @whitney @selbydrummond for giving the Iranian people a voice.
Collaborating with fellow founding member @nicolettemason of the @iraniandiasporacollective to make this video on how you can help.
We have created a living document “How to Talk about Iran” that is helping brands learn about this human rights crisis and reliable news and accounts to follow. Link in Bio ⬆️
MEDIA ADVISORY: Resources and Perspective on Women-Led Revolution in Iran
WHO WE ARE: The Iranian Diaspora Collective is a non-partisan, multi-faith group that is inclusive of multiple backgrounds, genders, and LGBTQ+ identity, and includes leaders in business, tech, media, entertainment, fashion, beauty, and more. This collective was formed as a response to the overwhelming demand from Iranians in Iran to amplify their voices. IDC’s goal is to encourage the world to continue to listen to the Iranian people in Iran who are imploring mainstream media, decision-makers, governments, and opinion leaders worldwide to hold the Iranian government accountable for its crimes against women, students, ethnic, religious, and sexual minorities.
WHAT: A working, living document with the most recent headlines and most urgent talking points around the situation in Iran. This document is a resource for journalists and thought leaders who want to cover Iran, but are unable to verify information due to the Islamic Republic’s deliberate shut down of the internet and suppression of voices on the ground. The document will also offer guidance on “actionables” around how to address the violence being committed by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
