Now that #strangerthings4 has fully released, I thought I’d take a moment to reflect back on the monumental journey that it was, never did I imagine that when @amylforsythe and @devinshayla asked me to come on full time back in December 2019 where this journey would lead me. We survived a global pandemic and a completely different world when we started back filming in September 2020. Testing 3 times a week, mask, wearing goggles all things that made our jobs more stressful than pre-Covid. Some days I didn’t know if I’d make it thru, thank the universe for my loves @totaltroy and @jordaanstallworth for supporting me. Then January 2021 came and this amazing being sat in my chair by fate, by choice, by design I don’t know what brought @milliebobbybrown into my life but she instantly became my little sister, my friend, a source of comfort and joy. It was from those first days of working with her that I realized how special this young woman is, watching her do what she does and how she brings to life a completely imaginary world. The things she puts her body, mind and soul thru to bring Eleven alive. Her dedication to her job, her team and her coworkers amazed me everyday. She’s not only talented but she is kind, caring & compassionate. We spent a full 7 months of our lives together, I went to New Mexico for two of those months away from my home, my loves & my friends to be there for her and I’d not change that for anything in the world because it was truly a moment in my life that I grew as a human, mentally & spiritually. I protected her as I would my own little sister or any of my friends. I smeared fake blood on you, I pour milkshake on your face, doused you with water and sand and yet you never complained. It was truly an honor to work with my friend, my little sister, who made each day better for me as I hope I did for her. She’s so full of love and I have nothing but love and respect from now til forever for her!
