Thanks for all your support towards our new track Eye To Eye. It was an incredible experience being on the other side of the camera Co-directing with my brothers. As a band we’ve always had a DIY ethic from the start but this was next level for us as a team creating something visual. From the start coming up with the concept together, spending days brainstorming ideas, making them make sense, sourcing props, extras, finding locations. We spent days rehearsing and choreographing these scenes before even thinking of filming as a video with doubles is much harder to film than you’d think. Me and @seanwss spent ages choreographing the fight scene. In a practice run I ended up breaking a rib which was super inconvenient and left me in a lot of pain when we filmed the performance scene. This was a huge personal achievement for me to be so involved with this project and I’ve honestly found a new love for film, directing and set designing. I’m incredibly proud of @aaranwss for driving this whole project, filming,editing and making our vision a reality. @loztaylorwss absolutely smashed the role we created with his amazing performance, all while co-directing and having the patience of a saint being the only character throughout the whole of this insanely exhausting shoot. @seanwss spent days creating the score, recording and overdubbing all the extra sounds you hear that isn’t in the song and co-directed. @matwss for production managing, co-directing, set building and making sure all scenes & props worked. Also shout out to Barnzy at @volca.media for being 1st AD, taking amazing photos, building sets, lighting and an invaluable help throughout the whole process. @Marciarichardsphoto for being there from start to finish ready with her camera, dedicated to getting the most incredible on set photos and BTS shots. Will at @monsterfxmakeup for the incredible and crazy realistic work with the prosthetics. @davegalloway_ & crew for smashing the live performance section. S/O to Oli Mathews who nailed Loz’s double.
