Something about sleepy kids and winter REALLY makes it feel like Christmas🥹🎄! Mateo has been doing Tia Martha’s @thegoodcandle Countdown To Christmas candle 🕯️ for years and the boy NEVER forgets💭! We are about a week late on this one😅, but it was the first thing he asked to do when he ran downstairs today❤️. I can’t believe he didn’t forget🥹! One thing I’ve learned as a divorced mom trying to keep it all together is that establishing traditions with your kiddos really helps them navigate that divorced life🙂. Sure it’s hard, but traditions are like programmed memories that help them feel safe🤗, remind them they’re home 🏡, and give them something to look forward to😁.... Even if seven days late😅!
