I didn’t always know I wanted to be a cook. I got lost a bit. Then I started cooking so I could belong, recognizing what I loved (eating good food) and realizing that by sharing it I could connect with people, it saved me, gave me a purpose. People say oh but it is so much work for something that disappears so fast. Sometimes you leave a strong memory of a meal, of a taste and that is what is worth all the work. You don’t know about it necessarily but it’s ok, it’s not about you, it’s about what you bring to this world. Trying to bring joy.
