Goodbye Minnie Mouse, a particularly special cat that had a talent for slinking into homes of the sick and dying to sit on laps, provide company, comfort and “the power of purr” as @garybaseman would say. Before being rescued by my sister and adopted by my mum, Mouse and her sister (Little Bleach) were abandoned as kittens with cat flu. Mouse also endured a horrid enucleation (eye amputation) due to complications with cow pox but despite her many trips to the vet, nurses would regularly comment on her exceptional good nature. Special thanks to all of her other homes and friends (especially Jenny) that she often visited, some we know about and others we probably never will.
