Due to its outstanding universal value as a cultural landscape, the Serra de Tramuntana is the biggest mountain range of the Balearic islands and was awarded World Heritage status by UNESCO in June 2011. Both the village of Deià as well as our hotel form part of the protected area which – luckily – has obliged us to use the same style of architecture, colours and materials within our hotel.
