Today is Earth Overshoot day. “Earth Overshoot Day marks the date when humanity has used all the biological resources that Earth regenerates during the entire year.” This date is calculated by Earth’s Biocapacity (the amount of resources the earth can generate in a year) divided by Humanity’s Ecological Footprint (the amount of resources humanity uses) multiplied by 365 days.
