Some people, settings , texture takes me back to how I have seen Kolkata while growing up. Mostly through films, Bengali art films, known people and scenario. My Kolkata is always a little more mythical than perhaps what it actually is. It’s more the way I see it than what perhaps holds true. Often replete with background music and montages As the autumn clouds are piled up high against the brilliant skies a very dear Kolkata muse of mine turns a year familiar.
