Man I can’t even express how much my brothers have saved me. With our mom passing it helped having them. But man our story goes far there than recent events. See many don’t know that they are by nature my uncles. Their sister, my birth mom (who you see in some of the pics in this video) was their sister who became pregnant with me at the age of 15. The hard truth was she was addicted to crack cocaine (yes even while pregnant with me) and she was going to sell me to help feed her addiction. But her mother wasn’t having it... so she legally adopted me. The part that often gets missed in the story is that my two brothers could have rejected me, could have seen me as a bother but instead they took me in with open arms as I was their little brother and not their nephew. Til this day we have never said that we are uncle and nephew and we never will. Hell many of our actual family don’t even know the actual story. But I say all of this to say that I love them more than words can say and I wouldn’t be the man I am today without their love and support. From teaching the game of basketball, financially responsibility, how to be an amazing father and the lost goes on. Joey, David... I love you and I thank you. My two brothers had to be come my dad because we didn’t have one and they also most likely needed one of their own and still took on the challenge of making sure that I had them.
