DIY hallway panelling complete ✅✨ So pleased with how the hallway has all come together, especially the fluted panelling! I wanted to document the steps and materials I used to put it all together 😍 - I bought 2.4m lengths of 6x18mm timber half round dowel from @blueprint_joinery - I also bought chamfered oak skirting and trim from @roundwoodofmayfield - I measured and cut the half round dowels, including mitreing the skirting and trim using the multi-tool, jigsaw and handsaw. - I used Pink Grip adhesive to fix the half round timber to the wall. I also used the Pink Grip to fix the skirting and top trim, before pinning them in with nails. - I gave everything a quick sand, and then used @osmo_uk Oil Stain in Tobacco. I brushed it on, let it soak in for 10 minutes and then used a microfiber cloth to work it into the grain. I had previously removed the plaster to the brick above and we white washed and sealed the brick. The final touch was the decorate with printing out photographs we have personally taken from trips abroad, in matching dark wood picture frames. Flooring is @havwoods using their Chevron boards in Alsace.
