damn, 5 years in my fitness journey. Its taught me that I can do hard shit. show up when I have 0 motivation. Pick up weight I didn’t think was possible. Being confident in a space I used to be so intimated to walk into. Being okay with failing. fitness has created certain building blocks that bleed into all areas of my life. it’s given me the confidence to quit my job. It given me the courage to start my own business. It’s taught me how to take care of myself from the inside out. and if you’re reading this you might be thinking, “well I have no interest in being or coach or pursing fitness in that way” but don’t look at it from that perspective. Because regardless of what vision you see for yourself, or even if you’re not sure yet, be open to the idea that your fitness journey can evolve ALL areas of your life. one of my favorite things about fitness coaching these past two years has been helping women transition out of jobs and situations that no longer served them anymore. And it all started with their fitness journey. How fcking dope is that. It’s because being present in your fitness journey requires -planning + scheduling -being honest with yourself -lessons learned -accountability -assessments of habits weekly All of these things FORCE you to step into the best version of yourself and shedding layers of yourself that just no longer serve you! I read shit all the time online and have that “wow I needed to hear that” and I hope this can be that for you!
