There is so much to say, that we are lost for words. However, we won't stay silent anymore. As a festival, we have not been outspoken politically in the past. As individuals behind the festival we are indeed political people. Our festival offers a place for all to be free. Our responsibility is to protect this. We don't feel the urge to share our current actions, as we are still connecting the dots on how to be most effective and helpfull as a community. But what we will share is this: We stand, in solidarity, with all people on the move. People who are running away from disaster. Leaving their homes and loved ones behind. We stand with all people who are helping people. We stand for peace. Stand together, stand strong. And when standing becomes too hard, dance.
