Had a long, hard race to Key West this weekend aboard #gunboat 62 Mach Schnell. We had a tight tacking duel down the coast with the team aboard @prospectorsailing that they capitalized on. After the first night they had solid lead on us. As dawn broke the wind picked up and we had a chase on our hands. The wind died out and we traded the lead as we dodged crab pots in shifty conditions. We made our final dive in and were able to break free to the finish for the win. It was a trying and at times frustrating race but this boat with its incredible crew held fast and pushed the boat to its limit every second.
