Moving back to my hometown has brought up a lot of emotions for a kid who was squarely told “you’ll never make it in music as an openly gay person in a nashville”. It’s wild to see what kind of hate the internet has for anyone “different” but I’m more interested in the great people I’m meeting and the beautiful music that’s being made by people who are creating a whole new Nashville. @tenilletownes
