I've been trying to find words, a string of sentences, that can sum up such heaviness and heartache. I can't find anything that hasn't already been said far more eloquently than I could have said it. My heart breaks for George Floyd and all those who knew and loved him. I stand in solidarity with my community in demanding justice for his murder. Businesses can be rebuilt and communities can be restored, but a life was taken and that can never be undone. This community is strong and resilient. We will get through this together.
