The not so glamorous side of trying to lose weight TOO QUICKLY!!️ or UNSUSTAINABLY !!️
the signs are there, however, when your goal is to lose weight/fat, so many women ignore the signs because their desire and motivation to be skinny takes over. When you’re slashing your calories, skipping meals, extremely restricting and over exercising, aside from losing weight, there WILL be other consequences.
My hormones were extremely affected from my low calorie, restrictive diet. I was eating SOO many “low calorie” things assuming it was healthier but I’m reality it was tearing my gut to shreds. I wasn’t giving my body enough daily fat from my diet which is EXTREMELY important to help regulate hormones, this is especially important for women. I was over doing it with exercises and under doing it with nutrition so my body was in a state fight or flight constantly.
-my hair fell out
-my weight loss plateaued
-I felt like absolute horse💩
It wasn’t until I started to take care of my body, eat at and above maintenance, regulate my hormones and decrease the stress on my body that my hair grew back 🫶🏽
