There is power in the release. Why? Because it opens the door for things that are more aligned and meant for you. Today, I’m sharing what to release as a creative: 1. People who drain you. Create boundaries with the energy vampires and distractions in your life. We only have so much energy in the day and your energy is valuable when it’s being nourished, supported and focused. 2. The need to be perfect. We aren’t truly living when we are trying to “control” everything. Stop. Rather, focus on connecting to the present moment, get messy and romanticize the process. Once you start making a habit of this, you will understand that you are a conduit of a greater message that surpasses surface level control. 3. Fear of failure. If you’re not failing, you’re not trying. I push myself to explore new ideas all the time and I expect to fail. This makes me feel alive and helps me grow. Dust off your fear and start using it as a tool for growth. Last, who and what is filling your bowl right now? Take stock of those who call you, support you and show up.
