The Super bloom that’s happened this summer is a momentous event in Montauk at our home and studio. These Daucus Carota or Queen Anne’s lace as they are commonly known have a tendency to proliferate we planted seed and then some more...tilled and toiled about 3 years ago and each year since and finally they emerged as never before and have created the most glorious super bloom and a stellar natural habitat for every bird and bee we see. They move with the wind in a constant dance of white lace flowers that are just mesmerizing. This year is the most remarkable bloom we’ve ever had. So incredibly grateful to be in the meadow these last days of summer and stay in the weeds. xR
