#CGxSTShowcase Last night I was invited to an absolutely wonderful event at Foyles Charing Cross to get a sneak peek at what @serpentstail and @canongatebooks are bringing out next year and BOY OH BOY WHAT A NIGHT. The books discussed sound absolutely brilliant - we were treated to some wonderful author panels and discussions which were so intriguing. From gothic reads to literary fiction - I want to read them all! I was pretty happy to come away with a goodie bag filled with some of the books discussed. I can’t wait to dive in. The other brilliant part of the night was getting to meet some of the lovely people who send me books and also hang out with some fellow bookstagrammers (@tillylovesbooks @secretworldofabook @girlswhoreadaround @bookmarkonthewall @franklyreading @aishathebibliophile) and others in the industry! Best of all as it was held in Foyles of course I had to buy some books (keep your eyes peeled as I’ll be doing a haul soon).
