This โ€˜Tofu Satay Skewersโ€™ recipe by @_plantbaes_ is tofu-rrific! Ingredients: ๐Ÿง€ 400g tofu Marinade: ๐Ÿ˜‹ 2 tbsp sesame oil ๐Ÿค— 1 tbsp tamari ๐Ÿ˜ 1 tbsp brown sugar ๐Ÿคค 1 tbsp rice vinegar ๐ŸŒถ 1 tbsp sriracha Sauce: ๐Ÿ˜Ž 1 tbsp minced ginger ๐Ÿง„ 1 minced garlic clove ๐Ÿ”ฅ 1 tbsp sriracha ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ 1โ„2 tbsp tamari ๐Ÿฅ› 1โ„4 cup coconut milk ๐Ÿฅœ 1โ„2 cup peanut butter ๐Ÿ‹ 1 lime juiced Method: 1. Chop the tofu in a bite-size square. Press to release some of the liquid. 2. Add all the ingredients of the marinade to a container and whisk together. Add the tofu to the container and place it in the fridge to marinate for at least two hours, but best overnight. 3. If using wooden skewers, place in water for 15 minutes. Drain. 4. Thread the tofu onto the skewers 5. Put in the air fryer at 180C for 8 minutes. 6. In the meantime blend or whisk all the sauce ingredients together and cook in a pot on low heat for 5 minutes to thicken. 7. Enjoy on their own as a starter or with some rice and greens as a complete meal.
