This message is to Hit-Boy: I’ve really had some trying moments as of late and I’ve been doing my best to be as strong as everyone thinks I am. I very well know who I am & what I’ve done... and trust me when I say, I have by far passed any goals that I set for myself when I entered this industry in 2002. Still, after all this time... I remain humbled by the things that matter the most in life. My core fans, my family & TRUE friendship which these days I know now is VERY RARE. I was standing next to you last night receiving pure hearted & honest praise... honored by every word you spoke, but seeing it this morning & being on the outside looking in brought tears to my eyes. It also brought joy & light into a dark place that I have been stuck in lately so to say I’m grateful is an understatement. You hit me on New Years Day to simply check on me & that turned into an album.... You are my motivation & even though you’re younger than me, you have been a BIG BROTHER to me this entire year.
