San Francisco might be known for coffee culture, but sometimes nothing beats slowing down over tea. For my grandma’s birthday, we tried Lovejoy’s Antiques & Tea Room, a delightfully quirky spot filled with mismatched teacups, cozy nooks, and British charm in every corner.
Their Queen’s Tea service made the afternoon feel so special: towers of little sandwiches, fresh scones with cream and preserves, petite desserts, and endless tea refills. We loved the coronation chicken salad sandwich, the scones were perfection, and yes… we’re still debating if a crumpet is just an English muffin in disguise.
It was such a fun way to celebrate and now we’re on a mission to try all the best high tea spots in the Bay Area. Where should we go next?
