How do thousands of signatures become a work of public art? Join us tomorrow evening to hear from artist Agnieszka’s Kurant and celebrate the opening of MIT’s latest public art commission, “The End of Signature.”
Hear from Kurant about her process of using artificial intelligence to create two different collective signatures realized as monumental light sculptures adorning the facades of two new buildings in Kendall Square.
Following the lecture, we invite you to join us on the plaza beneath the artworks for a reception and celebration from 7:00–8:00PM.
For our friends that cannot join us on campus, a live-stream of the lecture will be available on our website when the event starts at 6:00 PM EST.
