I have always had the fortune of working with great fashion departments at all the magazines I have worked. This crew was my last team at Allure. They are talented, have impeccable taste and a great work ethic. They are as people smart, hilarious and generous of spirit with me and each other. By 2016 when this photo was taken most of us had been released in the Condé Nast budget cuts after having been together for years. We still try to have a lunch or dinner twice a year (like the Spring/Fall collections). During the pandemic lockdown we had group texts and they all checked in separately to make sure I had the essentials during the lockdown. So much has changed lately in fashion, and yet they have managed to thrive in these difficult times.
