She recommended me and at the time I loved literature and the idea of performing. I was a little bit shy, so didn’t feel comfortable when the opportunity was presented to me to go for it at first. A couple of weeks after it was mentioned to me, I was like, ‘You know that play about the first woman to ride in the side saddle?
