Wow! What an amazing week! I flew coast to coast twice in 4 days for two different events for two completely different reasons. The second one, was such a blast and reunion with my Star Trek Lowers Decks castmates and creative team. I flew from Philly the morning after the ceremony to San Diego California for Comic-Con. For those who may not know, Comic-Con is an annual convention held in a variety of cities across the country, celebrating and marketing new and existing animated or sci-fi shows & films. Thousands from around the country and abroad flock to these events, some as reps of the projects they’re promoting, some as vendors, but most are thousands of enthusiastic fans often dressed as their favorite characters or sporting all kinds of fantastic paraphernalia!The energy there was off the charts! I was there as part of the launch announcement for our series #LowerDecks on @ParamountPlus. It was the first time in well over a year that the cast @jack_quaid @trondynewman @NoelWells & creator Mike McMahan (@importantscience) have been able to be together in-person! We participated in a panel that also included Exec Producer @alexkurtzmanofficial and Star Trek heir Rod Rodenberry. Our panel was moderated by the incredible Leah Thompson, to announce the premiere of season 3 on August 25, where we gave a sneak peek at the season trailer, and divulged a few juicy secrets to the 7,000 + attendees in H Hall! Special shout out to @EugCordero who had a work conflict and couldn’t make it, so we brought the next best thing.....a cutout of his character!! Ha!
