In 2018 when I founded this Non Profit @dynamicgirls_org, I made a wish list of partners that I dreamed we would one day work with, and @Netflix was at the very top of that list. I had heard throughout the industry that they were genuinely invested behind the scenes in equity and diversity work, and I knew that if we could find a way to bend their ear, they would understand the value in our mission. Today, that wish came true as we announce the launch of an incredibly exciting and robust curriculum-driven, virtual program with @netflix and their Photo & AV Studio team. Our students will gain significant insider knowledge and career information about the photo industry, from the leading media company in the world. All I can offer is my sincerest thanks to @netflix @generaltourist and the entire Photo & AV Studio team for building out the program, @megwachterphoto for managing our program daily, @newvillagegirlsacademy for giving us the opportunity to offer programming to their scholars and to my own personal Mentors. Find the thing in the world that you want to change. Explore it, dig into it and devote time to it. For me, it was changing the landscape of story telling and the power dynamic in our industry, to address the socio economic challenges of burgeoning creatives.
