🎉 ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND FOLLOWERS 🎉🥲 I CANNOT thank you all enough for your support over the years!!! 💯 When I started my little blog and Instagram 2,834 days ago (Jan. 27, 2015), I never thought I would be paving the way for a career I am so proud of. 💯 This morning, for the first time ever, I said out loud: “I love my job”. As those words settled in, I couldn’t help but think of the “Dark Days” of corporate work. The fear I had when I decided to walk away from a desk job that was sucking the life out of me. The tons of Sundays I spent fearing going to work the following day, sitting in meetings and feeling invisible and unheard, having people take credit for my ideas (which they originally scoffed at) and wondering: “Is this it? Am I going to die in this cubicle - alone in this air conditioned hell?” Ok. Maybe that’s a bit dramatic - but I was truly unhappy. Now - I am so, SO PROUD of myself for following my heart and taking that leap. I am living proof that following your dreams does pay off. 💯 @debbieluwho - thanks for hammering into my head my true worth. Ryan - thanks for NEVER leaving my side, and picking me up and dusting me off during the low times. 💯 Today, I’m raising my flute of gingerale and toasting to more good things to come.
