POV: Learning to Love your body. Okay so boom…wanna know what they don’t tell you about your 30s? You literally feel like you’re going through puberty AGAIN and also are again rediscovering who you are. One day you pass the mirror and you’re like whose body is this? Things shift, change, increase or decrease but either way there’s something to be said for when you finally come to terms with that fact that you are given one body to live with for the rest of your life. You realize she’s gotten you through your toughest days, covered and nurtured you and deserves the absolute best. Learning to love, my body has been a real journey at best but we are growing and evolving & I love that I’m making the conscious effort to not nit pick at her or criticize her anymore and to simply show her the love, grace and honor she deserves.
