mt. fuji showed up in a thousand quiet, breathtaking ways 🗻🍁 soft sunrise light at chureito pagoda , fiery autumn colors reflected on lake kawaguchi, and the simple joy of the creamiest hokkaido milk ice cream melting a little too fast as mt. fuji watched on. 🍦🍂 days slowed down between museum walks, warm tea, and golden grass fields swaying in the wind, with cozy ryokan nights in between. we zipped around in a tiny kei car like locals and let the views set the pace, ending with a sushi bento on the shinkansen. 🚅 already missing it all as the scenery slipped away. would absolutely recommend carving out 2–3 days in lake kawaguchi and hakone between your tokyo and kyoto/osaka days. 😍
