Very proud to announce new work for @rashaadnewsome and @parkavenuearmory for Rashaad Newsome’s ASSEMBLY, an extradimensional immersive art, dance and wellness experience happening from Feb 18 - March 6 in New York. ❤️‍🔥 At the center of this exhibition is BEING, the world's first gender non-binary, non-raced and Black-cultured Artificial Intelligence. A team of artists and engineers are teaching BEING, along with Rashaad, to develop their own poetic and critical voice through texts from #bellhooks and #PauloFreire. ❤️‍🔥 Assembly is giving #BlackFutureMonth for the next 3 weeks with daily “Dance and Decolonization Workshops,” and evening performances Tuesdays - Saturdays at 9pm with a global cast of dancers, musicians, rappers, opera singers and a choir. ❤️‍🔥 When I enter this magical, extradimensional space, I can’t help but get deliciously lost in a world where critical thinking and twerking co-exist. ❤️‍🔥 Thank you @rashaadnewsome, my dear friend, mentor, teacher, healer and leader, for creating a world in which we experience the magical interconnectedness of BEING.
