Feeling invincible at the time, I chose to open up about my darkest moments... Growing up in public housing, my neuro-diversity, religious conflict, mental health battles, eating disorders, body dysmorphia, self hate & self harm. All of this running through my head, carrying my 50kg outfit up a two story stair case, singing (honestly) the hardest song I’ve ever sung, with the pressure of representing my country on a world stage and the desire to make everyone proud... To be transparent, the last few days have been emotionally hard for me - I opened up more than I thought I was capable of. I think my head and heart are just a little exhausted. Not to worry though, I am surrounded by love and I can’t wait to share with you what I’m working on. For now I really want to just write music, be human, and cuddle my dog. I’m so proud and grateful. Thank you for ALL your love... honestly, you have all changed my life. Oh and I’m posting the demo of my next song in a few days. I love you all ♡
