If you’re a commission stylist these things are wack be: Being required to stay at the salon when you're not getting paid. Having to pay for any product. Not getting taxes taken out of your paychecks. These things are also low key ILLEGAL🙃 I LOVE commission/when done right. I also experienced one of the above and it sucked. Stylists I've mentored in the past have experienced the others. So,do your research, save this post and ask these questions, when you're hunting for a salon home.
