We are so excited to share @a24’s first children's book release, STAR CHILD, the beloved out-of-print children's book! Read aloud by Joaquin Phoenix’s character Johnny in Mike Mills' C’mon C’mon, Star Child tells the story of a bright young star who travels to Earth to experience life as a growing boy, and all the joys and pains that come with it. Written by children’s book author and illustrator Claire A. Nivola and originally published in 2014, this special edition of Star Child brings the stunning book back to life, with re-rendered and expanded full-color illustrations by Nivola. The book is designed by Brooklyn-based women's design studio Strick & Williams. Star Child marks A24's first publishing venture into the Children's lit space, with more exciting projects on the way. We are thrilled to share that they will also be releasing a children's book by Everything Everywhere All At Once co-director Daniel Kwan (@dunkwun) in early fall.
