About 1 in 1000 sea turtles survive to adulthood 😱⁠ ⁠ One of the biggest threats to sea turtles is being caught and killed in fishing nets. Trapped in a net, turtles are too often dragged through the water and without access to the surface to breathe, drown. It's estimated that over 250,000 sea turtles are killed by fishing nets globally every year.⁠ ⁠ These three Olive Ridley turtles were found entangled in a ghost net, and luckily were saved by @imma_abu @zainziyaad and crew 👏⁠ ⁠ How does this video make you feel?
