She has stepped into motherhood with the examples of love she has received from her own mother, grandmothers, aunties. The love that connects these woman transcends time. Their love is the basis of who I want to be as a mother. I have received love from my chosen mothers @corey_meets_world @giselealicea , aunties and siblings. And the cycle of healing continues. I am so aware now of how absent unconditional love and understanding was in my own experiences as a young, Latina trans woman.
