Back in TXXX Wow, what a fucking BLAST these shows over the last 6 weeks have been. Thank you to @ceremony , @gelhc , and @choirboyslc for sharing the stage with us. Truly an honor to be playing alongside y’all. Shoutout to my band mates @troubled.sleep , @fossilarms , and @dhphillips for bringing this music to life, for giving your all each night, being the best touring fam a girl could ask for 🖤🖤 love you guys Lastly and certainly not leastly, thank YOU for coming out to shows, crying with us, partying with us, and showing up for live music. Your support literally enables me/us to continue to do this, and it means so much to me to get to meet y’all and hear from you about how this record/these shows have made an impact. Music is sacred, especially live music. In the setting of a show, we have the opportunity to co-create a transcendent experience of beauty, feeling, and connection. It feels more and more impossible by the day to make those moments happen... there’s so much logistical bullshit, things are expensive, there’s a coco pandemic... the world at large seems to want to demolish anything substantial or inspiring or profound. But you’ve enabled us to keep on doing our thing, to contribute our little piece of the puzzle, and together we’ve co-created some magical moments. I look forward to continuing this journey with y’all, and to getting back on the road again.. nights like these are what keep the spirit of life alive.
