GOT MILKWEED? @collinastrada backstage S/S 2023 Collina Strada's SS23 collection envisioned the motif of the butterfly, reminding viewers of the importance of their role in keeping plants alive within our ecosystem. The final output of this concept through creative director Hillary Seymour's eyes led to gentle but undeniably prescient looks, combining fabrics such as sylk, chiffon, and lace with plaid prints, floral patterns, and light, silvery embellishments. The show itself held audience's attention through a custom DJ'ed mix including memed audios mentioning the beloved butterfly, along with the models using various hand gestures emulating the creature while floating down the venue.
