Given she is not usually a fan of gore, Anna Torv had to psych herself up to watch her new series, The Last Of Us. Set in a post-apocalyptic America run by mutant cannibals, Anna knew she’d be able to stomach her scenes as she could “rationalise they were pretend,” but seeing the sequences she wasn’t physically in was a different story. Ahead of its debut on Monday night, Anna reveals to The Binge Guide how she handled the gruesome subject matter, donning blood-soaked prosthetics, and going from the intimate set of The Newsreader, to the vast and expensive walled city built for The Last of Us.
