Gathering wild raspberries and foraging for bush tucker with Ross and Sharon for a lunch in the paddock. Always consciously observing the wildlife visiting from the adjacent rainforest where she was involved in regeneration, donating a large portion of her property to the establishment of new trees and vines for the protection of the Pademelons and endangered Richmond Birdwings Butterfly that lived there. A passionate Ecological Warrior she walked the talk across the land setting examples that resonate with us today. A road trip with her around the country lanes often meant trips to WIRES with injured creatures and a stop on the road to move a carcass to the grass verge to stop magpies and crows meeting the same fate Her passion for the trees in the Styx valley in Tasmania , her Gaia album, her heart wrenching song “ Don’t Cut Me Down” will forever be part of the ideology of Deux Belettes. We may have lost a beautiful friend and neighbour but the legacy she has left behind will never die.
