Greek cooking 101: Kolokithopita- pumpkin pie, Peloponnese style. . The most delicious sweet & savory pita, crunchy hand rolled phyllo & golden sesame seeds. These were a much appreciated olive harvest picnic lunch. The best meals I’ve had have been by the hands of this woman, Eleni makes it look so easy. Learning these traditional recipes & passing them on is so important, to keep the village culture alive 🇬🇷❤️ Missing Greece a little bit ... :) . . Pita filling ingredients, in order but not in quantities sorry - •Pumpkin, Eleni actually uses a spoon to scrape the flesh out, but you can grate it.
