We don’t always show our military side.. But Johns been in the Marines for almost 14yrs! We were 2yrs into our relationship when he SPONTANEOUSLY joined. (I had no idea 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️😂) But it’s been the best thing for us! Through deployments, constantly relocating, many up & downs, he’s remained rooted in putting our family first. The boys are still young, so they don’t understand sometimes why he has to be away for months at a time or why he wears a certain uniform to “work”. But they know he’s out protecting our country and that when’s home he’s all theirs. We forget sometimes, that there’s actual human beings underneath those uniforms. We see on tv, service member after Service member going into combat, but not often we think about the loved ones they leave at home.
