this morning while i was doing yoga, one of my oldest friends called. before she even spoke, i could feel her pain. with a heavy voice she told me that our friend and my first yoga teacher had passed. that this morning, the woman who first taught me the practice had left this earth. and there’s something beautiful in that. yes, death is heavy and unknown, but it is also what makes life life. and this gift that she gave me more than a decade ago, manifests itself in my life each and every day. this practice has helped me become the man i am today. so this one goes out to you mel ♥️ thank you for everything that you are.
