2024 NYC Marathon 3:27:39 The goal was to pace @jovanaparlic to a BQ (sub 3:25) and even though we fell short by 2 minutes, i’m super proud of her for grinding it out when things got rough post mile 22. Damn you hills. For the record, she did manage to beat me by 1 second. I will be reviewing the footage on that one. What the splits don’t show is her telling me “I can’t do this,” every other mile and then speeding up like it was nobody’s business.
