One of the “touristy” things that’s really great to do in Paris, is to take an evening champagne tasting tour on the Seine. We booked a trip at 6:30 PM on Saturday night through Viator, and we had a marvelous time with our sommelier Rudy. The tour took place on a larger tour boat, but we were in a smaller group in a private cabin at the front of the boat with access to the outside. The sun started to go down during the trip, providing us with some beautiful views of Paris from the water. If you book the offer, you’ll receive a voucher from Viator that you have to turn in at the ticket office at the port for an actual ticket. So be sure to arrive a half an hour before your cruise. There’s no place to just swap your voucher for a ticket other than the main ticket line. Don’t worry, the line moves fast.
