Can’t have one without the other. I wish I could post my nipple just cuz. And not have it sexualized and censored when it’s floating in space doin nothing. This app contorts our reality in so many ways, but you know that already. I’m here to tell you all I HAVE NIPPLES (that’s my reality) and they are harmless and won’t hurt you. I don’t think Instagram is a place for progress of any kind. I’m sharing my thoughts here because I haven’t thought of another place to do it. To me, this kind of censorship so clearly contributes the sexualization of our bodies and ultimately violence. Let’s be real... Instagram is full of pornographic images and also straight up porn regardless of these rules against women doing what they want with their own bodies. I’m tryna figure out how to do something about this in my own industry. Little by little. Let me know if you have ideas ✌️ In the states we got our screens filled w guns and violence. That’s what we expose OUR children to. Who else thinks we should see more boobs and nipples on tv? In and out of sexual contexts?
