Here’s a powerful, beautifully structured Brunello di Montalcino for you to try!🍷🇮🇹 #brunellodimontalcino At first, this 2016 from Uccelliera taste earthy and herbal with mineral tones, but after decanting for two hours and then sitting in the glass for 30 minutes, aromas of cherry, blackberry, raspberry and chocolate come pouncing forward!🍒 With each sip, the nuance of the flavors really blossom and dances nicely in your mouth.💃🏻 Tannins are firm, yet smooth.👌And despite the ABV above 15%, it doesn’t taste heavy on the palate. 👅 Pair this wine with a tomato-based pasta, steak or mild sausage pizza. Great bottle to keep in the cellar, but if you want to drink it young, I recommend decanting it for 3+ hours as it really benefits from the aeration.
