As it is, it’s a good name for Paris-based Julien Pradeyrol, aka Uncle Baby Latex. A former rapper and co-founder of seminal French labels Institubes and Sound Pellegrino, he’s built his name as an enthusiastic wearer of outerwear whose technically-minded DJ sets pull off impossible blends and feature everything from the freshest gqom to 80s pop anthems. A Rinse France resident, his skills as a selector have also found him a place in the Paris chapter of ballroom’s legendary House Of Ninja, while Boiler Room France called on him for curatorial connections.
